Make the assumptions inspectable.

A field note should help you make a decision, reproduce a scenario and know when the result stops applying.

Editorial purpose

Effortless Serverless is a technical publication for developers operating event-driven services. The guides answer implementation decisions with explicit boundaries, observable outcomes and a practical way to test each assumption. New material is credited to the current editorial project.

Model versus measurement

The workload lab is a deterministic calculation, not a live benchmark. Its counts are expectations over repeated independent failures; they can be fractional. Its duration assumes uniform attempts and idealized capacity. Exports include the scenario and limits so a colleague can reproduce the result. Provider guarantees and pricing come from the provider, not this model.

Data and local tools

The published lab runs in the browser, makes no cloud API calls and requires no credentials. Scenario inputs stay on the page; exporting JSON creates a file on your device. Normal hosting access logs are separate from these calculations. External reference links take you to the corresponding websites.
